What a Character!
Playlist Title
- Click “classic stories” on the site index.
- Scroll down and choose ONE of the stories listed under the heading “Grimm, Brothers.”
- Read the story once for an overview of what happens and to clarify any words or phrases you don’t understand, then read the story a second time.
- This time, pay careful attention to the details about the main character.
- Follow the directions to create an illustration of your character from the East of the Web story, and a list of ten things that you know about the character.
- Click the blue arrow next to “Ten Things I Know About” to list facts about your character, their appearance, and their personality.
- Click “Enter Here” and choose your characters for each panel. There are many different characters to choose from.
- Choose one event from your story that shows one of your character’s main character traits.
- Create a scene using images and words (either thought bubbles, or talking bubbles) that tells the story of that event.
