Playlist Title
In this playlist, you will be doing lots of writing about topics, stories, and images that interest you. In the first activity, you will use a Persuasion Map to make an argument about a topic that you feel strongly about. Next, you will be creating a one-of-a-kind Storybird by matching your own words to pictures that interest you. Finally, you will be creating an epic myth with the support of other writing experts. In all these activities, keep two things in mind: 1. All of your writing is “in progress” - you will be getting lots of help from your friends and teacher to improve throughout these activities. 2: You should have fun; don’t be afraid to be honest, silly, or challenging in the stories and essays you create!
