Learning About Time

Use these four activities to help you practice working with time. You will set clocks, read clocks, and solve word problems about time.

1. Time Keeper (Fuel the Brain):

Select “1 minute interval,” listen to what time the bird says, and choose the correct clock below that matches each time.

2. Difference Between Two Times:

This activity uses a 24-hour clock.
Remember, that means that 1:00 P.M. is the same as 13:00. And 19:00 is the same as 7:00 P.M.

3. On Time (Sheppard Software)

4. Mission 2110: Time (BBC):

Pick the clock that shows the correct time.

Use a number line to figure out the difference between two times.

Set a digital clock correctly to answer the questions.

Use your knowledge of analog and digital time to release the Mission 2110 bio-rods!
