Learn About Sound and Light Waves
Playlist Title
- Click on the CHANGE COLOR BACKGROUND button at the right to set a new background color.
- Now try to make the circle match the background.
- Change the amount of red, blue, and green light by clicking the + or - buttons for each color.
- When the color of the circle matches the color of the background, the circle will disappear.
- To check your answer click on CHECK COLOR LEVELS. Small arrows will appear next to each color column, indicating the amount of each color used.
- Choose 1, 2, and 3 to read about bats and click on the speaker for help reading.
- On 2, CLICK START to watch the movie and follow the instructions to catch the insects.
- WRITE down your response to “Describe how an insect echo is different from a tree echo.”
- Listen to the Scientist explain how the glasses show sound waves.
- Explore the laboratory and visit each station to see the sound waves and if humans or animals can hear them.
