Integrating and Comparing Resources to Understand Ideas in Texts and Multimedia

This is a playlist full of activities that will challenge you to look carefully at an author’s argument across multimedia resources. For instance, you will be reading science articles to figure out their main arguments. You will also be creating your own videos later on—keep in mind that you will need to save your “Harvest Code” in Harvest of History in order to show off your video. You’ll also be watching college students talk about their experiences and comparing what they say to what you’ve learned as a middle school student. Keep in mind that you are going to be finishing these activities by writing a book review of a book that you have read. To be prepared for this, make sure you’ve selected  a book (or have been given one by your teacher) that you will finish by the time you get to the Share What You’re Reading activity. Have fun!
