Complete this activity in class with the help of an adult:
1. What’s Your Favorite? (BBC):

Click on each student’s face to find out what their favorite hobby is.
Count up each tally mark and type in the 4 totals.
Create a bar graph with each total by clicking the up arrow or down arrow to fill in the graph.
Use the totals for each hobby again to create a pictograph where each picture represents 2 people.
Play the activity again, but this time, find out everyone’s favorite color! Play the following activities by yourself for practice with line graphs.

Complete these two activities independently:
2. Fruit Falls: Catch the fruit as it falls and then answer the farmer’s questions about the graph you make.
3. Reading Pictographs (Khan):
Read and answer the questions on each pictograph.
Once you have completed 8 questions click “Learn new stuff. Onward!” and keep learning.
