Work through these websites to learn or review the organelles of cells and the cell reproduction process.  

1. Plant and Animal Cells (e-Learning):

  • Click on the blue box in the middle of the screen to start the activity.
  • Click on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to see the icon bar and pause button.
2. Cell Games (Sheppard):
  • Choose one of the cell tutorial options; animal, plant or bacterial.
  • Read the Tutorial, play the Game, and take the Quiz for each type of cell.
  • Hit the back button to return to the main menu.
3. Mitosis:
  • Read the introduction.
  • Choose “Narrated” tutorial to view the animation with audio narration (“Show Text” button is on bottom right).
  • Choose “Step-Through” to view animation in a series of steps.
  • Choose “Q” to take a quiz.
  • The “House” icon returns to the main menu.
