Addition of Integers with Unlike Signs – At Home
Students add integers of unlike signs using zero pairs and a number line. They will apply the theory of a “zero pair” to cancel out an equal quantity of positive and negative integers and find the sum. Students also add integers of unlike signs on a number line to find the sum.
